Dear Students:
This is the 12th week of School together. With about 36 weeks together in the School-year, when we finish this week, we will have concluded one-third (1/3) of this year's climb up the 'Mountain of learning!'
That's a long way we've come. You've learned a lot. But with two-thirds (2/3) left to go, there is still so much on this adventure to look forward to!
I am honored to be your Teacher to guide you up this mountain. I will challenge you much, and much of your success will depend on your willingness and ability to accept challenges, follow in the ways I lead you, and to THINK and FEEL deeply along the way!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
Stories are Journeys into deep hidden dimensions of experiences, feelings, ideas and visualizations of wonders and actual events, if the latter is based on real-life.
I love that in Classroom 16 we delve into so many different kinds of stories, so many journeys we go on together.
We explore the stories I make for you, stories from great books, and the sharing of your own stories!
Be determined that in every story we journey into together that you will gain new ideas, feelings, visualizations, and make your life thereby more "rich."
Be determined too, today, to be the best you can be in everything! That takes self-control from everyone.
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
You are here to learn, and that's a good thing!
In learning, you can experience the joy of knowing more, expanding your ability to be smart, expanding your ability to be great, and increasing your ability to do great things with your life!
Our Classroom 16 is a community in which we help one another learn, and help one another become GREAT!
No put-downs allowed!
Do your DUTY to help raise-up all the class to greatness!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
Learning is a challenge!
Learning must be a challenge! You are to be challenged, to accept the challenges of learning and thereby experience the joy that comes with achieving great Aims!
We can, we will, enjoy stories and new ways to explore working with numbers and understand too why the world is as it is, in this "Day and Age" in which we live together.
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
Dear Students:
Thank you for being great students!
I speak to that part of you that is the best in you. Everyone has the ability inside to become GREAT on the outside.
I am never more happy than at the times I see you striving for excellence. It is my hope that you feel greatful to be part of our special class, Classroom 16! ...and in feeling that, let the greater part of yourself express itself in Respect, Great ideas, and Excellent work!
Sincerely,
Mr. Stathis
